The Technique We Use

The steps

First step is always the analysis of the customer’s needs. We find out what the customer’s real requirements are and therefore agree on a scope of service and equipment that would match the customer’s wishes, budget and work that can be done with the machinery.

Next step is to find within the set framework the right model and type of equipment, be it new or used.

Our approach

Depending on the scope of the order, we include technical checkups to ensure the quality of the used equipment; we negotiate on our customers’ behalf the price and the terms of the transaction.

In particuar, we can organize transport, customs clearance, taxation, financing (depending on the credit rating of the customer) and save money transfer in addition.

Agricultural Chemicals

Chemicals for different needs and budgets

We are able to serve your needs with high end quality products from Switzerland or Germany as well as the smart and more reasonable priced products from other European Countries, i.e. Holland, Belgium. Besides, we can provide you with guaranteed quality and the lower end of the price range from Asia.

No matter what your needs are, we can help you spend your money wisely and reasonably to maximize your harvest and therefore your income.

If you provide us with a list of your needed agricultural chemistry, we will offer you different producers and a wide range of prices.

Soil analysis

We strongly recommend an analysis of your soil executed by a certified European Laboratory which in combination with what you would like to sow would lead you to a personalized herbicide and fertilize plan. This could increase your harvest result by 30-40%.

Resulting from the laboratories recommendation we will find the right producer for agricultural chemistry for you, taking into account your intentions as well as you budget.

Technical services team

We have a technical services team to handle soil sampling, field assessment and data collection work. An internal technician certification program assures that we are getting the very best data at the field level to help our clients to make the most informed decisions.

This approach provides our clients with a team of people who are focused on specific aspects of your operation.

Good fertility and nutrient management data start with taking good samples.

Our soil sampling service consists of a full time team of Field Service Technicians who take over 15,000 samples a year on over 150,000 acres. In addition, they are responsible for the necessary field work associated with Electroconductivity (EC) mapping, grid sampling, GPS boundary mapping and tile line mapping.

To assure that our field work is performed consistently and to the standards necessary for our work, we have developed an internal technician certification program. It is worth mentioning that all new technicians are trained the same way and must pass the certification process which includes actual field work as well as testing their aptitude for running equipment.

Precision Agriculture

What is precision agriculture?

“Precision agriculture is the practice of using remote sensing, soil sampling and information management tools to improve production.

Precision agriculture often involves using geospatial data to maximize outputs.

It also helps to manage inputs and reduce chemical applications (costs).”

We are at the forefront

Using advanced technology to plant, fertilize and harvest crops is one of the fastest growing areas in agriculture today. It is driven by the natural evolution of technology and by the daunting task of feeding 9 billion people. RDL, with technology partners, is proud to be on the cutting edge of the newest technology. Our staff remains committed to helping clients make the best decisions about the next steps to take with their farm operation and how best to use the data that the technology provides.

Crop Technology Assessment (CTA)

A CTA provides an assessment of your farm’s current precision agriculture capabilities. It will help you identify future strategies, and in the end it will provide you with an action plan and greater confidence that the decisions you make today will be the right ones for tomorrow.

Recommendations for services such as yield analysis, electroconductivity (EC) mapping, pH mapping and variable rate (VR) technology can be made based on the information gathered during your crop technology assessment. Recommendations for software and hardware purchases are also a part of a CTA.

Surely, these assessments are performed jointly with you, your farm management team and our engineers.
